Who are the Pacific Northwest Band of Brothers?
A small group of dedicated men in the Clark county area of Washington who recognize that we were born into a world at war. We are fighting for the hearts of other men that the enemy seeks daily to take out.
This is why this year we are bringing a grass-roots Men’s Ministry, the Band of Brothers from Colorado, to the Portland, Oregon metro area to put on a conference intended to better equip each one of us for the fight.
The Band of Brothers
Band of Brothers Mission:
To offer the Brotherhood of Christ to men fighting to move from success to meaning,
addictions to freedom, and self-orientation to God’s priorities.
Our Covenant with God is (1) to become a follower and brother of Christ - no matter the cost; and (2) to engage in the battle with other Jonathan/David brotherhoods.
Our Desire is to live as if we are in the last days and our King Jesus Christ is calling us to join him for the final battles. We desire to be transformed, sanctified, and prepared for all that God has for us. We desire to live the glorious life and purpose for which we were created.
Your Heritage: Brother of Christ
“God chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn with many brothers…” (Rom. 8:29). Jesus says, “Anyone who does God’s will is my brother.” (Mark 3:35) “So now Jesus and the ones he makes holy have the same Father. That is why Jesus is not ashamed to call them his brothers.” (Heb. 2:11)
Why
This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth.
How
But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. They said to you, “In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.” These are the men who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit. But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.
Be merciful to those who doubt; snatch others from the fire and save them; to others show mercy, mixed with fear—hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh.
To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy— to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen. (Jude 17-25)
